How did Thanksgiving come so fast? Is everyone ready? Are you traveling or staying home with your families? It has just come so fast this year. Time is moving quickly it seems, way too fast for me.
My family is going on Wednesday to the “West Baden Springs Hotel” in French Lick, Indiana. This hotel is one of my favorite places to visit. Now French Lick is a popular town because its own “Larry Bird” grew up there, the town stores and hangouts have loads of “Larry Bird” memorabilia. ” Larry Bird ” was a superstar basketball player for his high school, Indiana State University, and the Boston Celtics. Larry has truly represented Indiana basketball at its best!
Now, the real treasure is the “West Baden Springs Hotel”, it is beautiful, timeless, and full of history. It is an elegant place to relax, explore, and spend time with family and friends. We are going to celebrate Thanksgiving and the start of the Christmas Holiday season.
The hotel is considered by many as the “Eighth Wonder of the World“, its spectacular dome ceiling in the atrium is breathtaking to see and experience.
In the next few days, I will explore the history of this fine hotel with you. I do feel very honored to have visited this place in not ideal times and then today when it has been renovated and restored to its natural state.
