I am a girl of the 70’s and my all-time favorite band is “Fleetwood Mac“. I heard the news of the passing of Christine McVie today at work and I immediately was saddened. I have listened to the music of “Fleetwood Mac” since I was a teenager and just love their sound. There will never be another band that captured that defined harmonizing soulful rock connection. ‘Fleetwood Mac” fans are in mourning, Christine just made this band!
Stevie Nicks always seemed to capture that front light shine, but Christine McVie was definitely one of the best songwriters ever of the 70’s and 80’s. Her songs were immediate hits, classic, pure, and remarkable melodies that help spiral “Fleetwood Mac” into a legendary rock band. When Christine would sing, she had a sparkle like no other and her songs were heartful and straightforward, with an everlasting beautiful sound. She was a stunning woman who was so talented, artistic, and a gentle soul.
We have to thank Christine for sharing her music, talents, and her life with all of us who enjoyed her music, ‘Fleetwood Mac‘, and the happiness that has come from their collaborative musical endeavors. I will always be a true-loving fan! Rest in peace; you sure made loving you and “Fleetwood Mac” fun, and my favorite song “Don’t Stop” has been everlasting for myself and so many. ‘Tomorrow will be better than before’ because of your life!
