November 2, 1956, The Wizard of Oz aired on TV for the first time ever. Over 46 million views watched as the movie began to become a classic. Did you follow the “yellow brick road’? I remember watching as child with excitement and fear, oh fear of the “Wicked Witch”. The movie was so truly a magical land of OZ, a place for all to gain courage, a heart and more. A “somewhere over the rainbow” reminding you there is “no place like home”.
